A faculty member from the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Alnoor University delivered a lecture on water pollution and its impacts.
In the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Ismail Abdul Wahab, Assistant President of Alnoor University for Scientific Affairs, the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the university, under the supervision of the Continuing Education Department, organized a lecture titled "Water Pollution and Its Impact on the Environment and Human Health." The lecture was delivered by Dr. Nazim Alawi Al-Shahri, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department and a faculty member in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, on Monday morning, September 9, 2024.
The lecture was also attended by Professor Dr. Khazal Fathi Zidan, Dean of the College of Education at the university. Dr. Al-Shahri addressed the causes of water pollution, its pollutants, and the impact of each type of pollution on human health and environmental purity. He also discussed ways to avoid the harmful effects of pollution, the proper methods for rejuvenating a clean environment, maintaining human health through access to pure, uncontaminated water, and strategies for treating water pollution.
