The female faculty members of Alnoor University participated in the space for combating violence against women.

Under the patronage of Alnoor University , Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hijar , and under the supervision of the Women's Affairs Division, the female staff members from the Women's Affairs Units at the university, in collaboration with the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Mosul, organized an awareness, educational, and volunteer campaign on Sunday, December 8, 2024. This was part of the ongoing 16-Day Campaign for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. During the campaign, cards and posters were distributed containing messages encouraging women to be self-reliant, confront the challenges they face from their surroundings and society, and the need to stop all forms of violence against them. The materials were distributed in the courtyards of Alnoor University. Additionally, orange-colored pins and wristbands were handed out to participants and students, symbolizing the campaign against violence against women.
