"Women's Rights Protection and Care" in a Seminar by the Women's Affairs Department at Alnoor University

The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Alnoor University organized a seminar titled "Care and Protection of Women's Rights at Work" based on the participation and institutional reform pillar (4), which focuses on the importance of legal and administrative amendments aimed at ensuring women's rights in the workplace.
The seminar was chaired by Dr. Walaa Abdul Wahid, the head of the Women's Affairs Unit at the university. Dr. Mona Taher Mohammed, a faculty member in the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the college, delivered the lecture, where she explained that the right to work is one of the most important aspects of human life, as it is both a need and an intrinsic part of a person's psychological life.
She emphasized that women's work and their participation alongside men in the workforce have become of great significance, as women workers represent a significant force added to the collective effort. She stressed that support and protection for women in society should be provided through:
Protecting maternity and the associated rights
Ensuring equality and non-discrimination based on gender and social status
Providing a safe environment free from harassment with the necessary legal protection.
