A faculty member at Alnoor University participates in an international oncology conference

Dr. Tareq Ahmed Abed, a faculty member in the Department of Radiology Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, participated Alnoor University, At the Best of ESMO Levant 2026 conference of the European Society for Medical Oncology, held in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, for two days starting from 12/2/2026.
The latest research and key recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of cancerous tumors were presented.
It should be noted that Dr. Tareq Ahmed Abed is a specialist physician in radiation oncology in the United Kingdom, holding a Master’s degree with distinction from the University of London, a PhD in oncology from the University of Sheffield in the UK, and has conducted research in the field of radiation studies in Germany. He is also a licensed physician registered with the British Medical Council (GMC).
