Holding an awareness workshop on cybersecurity in cooperation between the Departments of Medical Laboratory Technologies and Computer Science at Alnoor University

In the presence of Assistant Professor Prof. Dr. Yassen Taha Mohammed Ali , President of Alnoor University, The Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies in the College of Health and Medical Technologies, in cooperation with the Department of Cybersecurity Sciences, held College of Science At the university, on the morning of Saturday, 21/2/2026, an awareness workshop titled “45 Minutes Inside the Mind of a Hacker: From Idea to Protection” was held. It was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Ali Hussein Abdul Qadir and delivered by fourth-year student from the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, Ahmed Mohammed Suleiman. Professor Dr. Yassar Yahya Altamer Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies ,Professor Dr. Ismail Alsanjari Dean College of Science Professor Dr. Munir Albadrani, the University’s Scientific Advisor, addressed the concept of cybersecurity and its applications, highlighting the most prominent common cyberattacks and digital threats, as well as methods for protecting sensitive information within the university environment. He also presented practical steps to enhance digital security and conducted a live interactive demonstration during the workshop.
