Students of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at Alnoor University visit one of their future workplaces

In the framework of efforts Alnoor University, To provide a comprehensive learning environment that allows its students to gain early exposure to their career paths, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Hadi Mohammed The Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized, on the morning of Thursday, 26/2/2026, a field visit for a number of fourth-year students, accompanied by a group of the department’s faculty members, to the Oncology and Specialized Nuclear Medicine Hospital in Mosul.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the nature of laboratory work in the hospital’s various departments, particularly the laboratories involved in specialized tests related to cancer diagnosis and nuclear treatments, as well as familiarizing themselves with modern equipment and work procedures in accordance with contemporary medical standards.
This visit is part of the department’s practical program designed to connect theoretical knowledge with hands-on training, contributing to the refinement of students’ skills, enhancing their readiness to enter the job market after graduation, and reinforcing the concept of partnership between the academic institution and healthcare facilities in the governorate.
