The dual uses of nuclear energy in a seminar held by the Department of Radiology Techniques at Alnoor University

 The Department of Radiology Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the university, held a scientific seminar on the morning of Saturday, 11/4/2026, entitled:
Dual uses of nuclear energy .. a comprehensive scientific perspective
lectured in it Professor Dr. Hanaa Ihsan Albaroudi ,The Head of the Radiology Techniques Department addressed in her lecture the most prominent aspects related to the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, in addition to the challenges and risks associated with its misuse. She highlighted the role of modern technologies in achieving a balance between scientific benefit and ensuring safety.
The seminar also discussed the applications of nuclear energy in medical fields, particularly in radiological diagnosis and radiotherapy, as well as its uses in industry and agriculture, with an emphasis on the importance of adhering to international standards for radiation protection.
