In order to enhance the applied aspects and link the theoretical side with practical reality, the Department of Clinical Nutrition in the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized Alnoor University, A scientific visit by the department students to the Department of Food Sciences at the College of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Mosul, under the supervision of Dr. Walid Allaila, the head of the department.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the laboratories and specialized labs in the Food Sciences Department, where they learned about the latest techniques used in food analysis and quality testing, as well as the working procedures within scientific laboratories.
The students also listened to a detailed explanation from the teaching staff at the College of Agriculture and Forestry regarding the nature of the equipment used and the methods of conducting laboratory tests, which contributed to enhancing their practical understanding of therapeutic nutrition concepts.
This visit comes as part of a series of scientific activities that the department is keen to organize, aimed at developing students’ skills and better preparing them for the job market.
