The Department of Radiologic Technologies is organizing a seminar on the occasion of the International Day of Medical Physics

The Department of Radiologic Technologies in the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized Alnoor University, On the morning of Sunday, 23/11/2025, a seminar was held on the occasion of the International Day of Medical Physics. The session was supervised and its topics presented by Professor Dr. Hanaa Albaroudi, Head of the Radiologic Technology Department. In her lecture, she addressed the history of the emergence and development of radioactivity, in addition to its relation to medical physics and their role in advancing diagnostic and therapeutic methods
The session was attended by a number of faculty members and students, who raised their questions and contributed interventions that enriched the discussion, affirming the importance of this occasion in promoting awareness of the role of medical physics in improving health services and accurately and safely diagnosing diseases.
