A seminar on thalassemia at the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at Alnoor University

The Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized Alnoor University, A scientific seminar was held on Tuesday morning, addressing the burden of thalassemia carriers on the family's future and the ways of prevention and control.
The seminar was held under the supervision of Dr. Hadi Mohammed Ehymayed The head of the department, while the lecture was delivered by Dr. Sanaa Mohammed Tayeb Amin, an assistant professor in the department, in which she reviewed the genetic aspects of the disease and its health and social impacts, in addition to the importance of early screening and community awareness to limit its spread.
This event is part of the scientific activities that Alnoor University is keen on organizing to raise health awareness among students and the community, and to support efforts aimed at preventing genetic diseases and improving quality of life.
