Department Objectives
• Keeping pace with therapeutic advancements in laser applications. • Conducting and strengthening scientific research in the field of laser applications. • Performing scientific studies on laser technology and publishing them in reputable international journals. • Providing therapeutic and cosmetic services to a wide segment of society. • Organizing training courses on laser applications for dermatologists, cosmetic specialists, and postgraduate students. These specialized courses in dermatological and cosmetic disorders include both theoretical and practical components. Future plans have been set to conduct such courses periodically to enhance the skills of dermatologists and cosmetic specialists in treating various conditions and expanding laser use in cosmetic procedures. • Assisting postgraduate students (Iraqi and Arab board of dermatology) in conducting research and fulfilling their academic requirements. • Practical training for first-year students (modules) on laser applications.

Graduate Description
The department aims to equip graduates with the necessary clinical skills to address the most common cases in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery affecting various body systems, as well as the diagnostic methods and treatment alternatives employed in cosmetic surgery centers worldwide.
